Transitional Program For Homeless Women
What We Do?
Our program is designed to help homeless and struggling women find their place in life. We provide safe housing for each individual which includes clothing, food, rehabilitation (if needed), and transportation. Each individual is provided with a counselor to help them through any mental and/or emotional concerns, as well as help them develop a transitional plan which includes financial planning, education, employment, childcare, and much more. We also require each individual to attend regular group classes of their choice such as parenting classes, cooking, sewing, cleaning, career advancement, drivers education, fitness, etc.
Beyond Rubies Transitional Program places women in a discrete and secure housing development in the Antelope Valley. Our private community is similar to a small school campus. It is comprised of shared housing complexes, a library, gym, boutiques, grocery store, classrooms, a childcare facility, administrative offices, and more.
We also provide vocational schooling directly on our campus for careers in healthcare, cosmetology, culinary, legal, fitness, etc.
Other classes include photography, art, theatre, and more.
These community features allow for us to provide women with job experience and education so once they finish their program term they will be ready to transition back into society.
